A picture is worth 1000 word s

Between running a family of five, a photography business, and a part time job; there is not much time left to sit down and write about all the happenings of our adventures. So I will let the pictures do the talking ...Enjoy!

Yuba

We went to Yuba for my birthday again this year. I was really excited to go, unfortunately we got off to a late start and didn't get out there until about 7m. The water was SO high there was no beach on the North Shore. We had to camp up behind the bathrooms! But we set up camp had a nice little fire, roated some hot dogs and marshmellows and got to bed for a day on the lake the next day. Well it turned out to be a LONG night! We had brought the pack and play for Paisley to sleep in but I thought it would be a nice warm night so she only had a little blanket. After the sun went down it got pretty chilly!! She woke up when Mom tried to cover her with it and so we ended up just putting her in bed with us. All four of us on our little air mattress, in our little tent :) Paisley couldn't get comfortable and then she saw Brooks and just wanted to play.. it took her a while to get back to sleep and then I couldn't get back to sleep, it was a REALLY long night ha. As the sun came up Mom made us breakfast and we headed out on the boat. We had a great time on the tube and Brandon and Mom got out on their wakeboards. Then it looked like a storm was rolling in, so we got off the lake and headed to pack up camp. The wind was so awful it was blowing sand everywhere and it didn't let up. So we ended up just having some lunch and headed home. It wasn't exactly what I had planned but I enjoyed the time with my family and appreciate the time and effort my Mom and Terry put into the weekend :)
